The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Certifications

The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is the most used framework for enterprise architecture today that provides an approach for designing, planning, implementing, and governing an enterprise information technology architecture. TOGAF is a high-level approach to design. It is typically modeled at four levels: Business, Application, Data, and Technology. It relies heavily on modularization, standardization, and already existing, proven technologies and products.

TOGAF 9 Foundation: provides validation that the candidate has gained knowledge of the TOGAF terminology, structure, and basic concepts, and understands the core principles of Enterprise Architecture and the TOGAF standard.

TOGAF 9 Certified: provides validation that in addition to the knowledge and comprehension of TOGAF 9 Foundation,  the candidate is able to analyze and apply this knowledge.

Gaining TOGAF Certified status automatically confers free membership of the Association of Enterprise Architects.
